The applicant will ultimately need to make an estimate of their residential annual usage and then subtract that amount from the actual annual meter usage to prove that the business is responsible for >50% of the meter’s usage total annual usage.

If the business is responsible for less than 50% of the total meter’s usage, the only path forward is to split the meter into two meters and have the energy system connected only to the business meter.
