The Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) offers guaranteed loan financing and grant funding to agricultural producers and rural small businesses. This program is designed to help these entities invest in renewable energy systems or make energy efficiency improvements. Additionally, agricultural producers can apply for new energy-efficient equipment and new system loans for agricultural production and processing .

The program also aims to support the purchase or installation of renewable energy systems (RES) and energy efficiency improvements (EEI) projects.
